HERE ARE THE RAPTORS EXPERIMENT and ACTIVITY PICTURES

Activity 16 SOLAR ENERGY and WATER VOLUME

MATERIALS

PROCEDURES

1. Measure the water
2. Measure the STARTING temperature of the water
3. RECORD the DATA
4. Pour 1\2 cup of water into one solar tray and 2 cups in the other solar tray.
5. COVER BOTH solar trays.
6. Leave the solar trays in the direct sun for 40 minutes.
7. Pour the water into the designated tumblers.
8. Measure the FINISHED water temperature of the different volumes of water.
9. RECORD the DATA.
10. CALCULATE THE DIFFERENCE in the STARTING TIME and FINISH time.
11. RECORD,GRAPH and SHARE THE DATA.
